Colette, After a hectic week has passed I thought I would take the time to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at The Dutch House. The house was beautiful and appreciated the attention to detail and the decor. The house was immaculately clean too. We have stayed in numerous houses and apartments over the years (including 10 George Street in York) but we think The Dutch House was the best by far. We visit York every year and now don't think we would want to stay anywhere else. We appreciated the high quality and care taken in choosing items for the welcome basket and the flowers. I know these are small things but make so much difference to making a short break feel extra special. We also liked the well stocked cupboards which meant we never had to go shopping for kitchen foil etc - not something we find is the usual. Our daughter loved 'her' room and even helped to tidy it after her stay. Thanks very much for making our stay so special and we hope to return soon.
